The Taiwanese Scout Leader who cant get enough of me…
& wanted to marry me off to her son & become her slave daughter-in-law…

As usual I was late again as I was running errants for “Someone”…

I met the S.K. Warriors… WoooHoooo…
We rockzzz to the core…

I brought out my Ferrero Rocher roses which is my gift to the overseas guides…

Dhava said

“I didn’t Know that Hawa was so crafty”

I was like WTH… Why cant I do this… Guess that they haven seen that side of me…
Most people were amazed at it…

When I gave to the Taiwanese Guides, They were like so sweet…
One of them said that by giving roses it means your declaring your love to someone…
hahahax…
I didn’t thought of that…
Well, I lurve them all cos they are so sweet & kind…

I gave the roses to the Scottish Guides, Cambodia Guides, Sri Lankan Guides & Maldives Guides… Well the Malaysian went back earlier that day… so too bad for them…
I just hope that my roses are safe with them…

I got more gifts from the overseas guides…

Well another thing happen that night that stirred my feelings a lil’…
It’s when a new YA friend of mine said that I was cute & all… & Jasmine said that
the way I look might attract the wrong crowd…
Hahahahax…
I laugh it off & came open to both of them… Jasmine was shock & all but the other didn’t say anything or I didn’t notice it cos I was trying to avoid making an eye contact with her….
When I like someone, I will go wobbly & have difficulty talking to that person…
So throughout the night I was drifting my attention to other stuffs…

Enough about that…
All The S.K. Warriors became CAM WHORE for a while….
hahahax…
Thats was so much fun…

GGS International Camp 2007 – Day 5 December 8, 2007

On Day 5

Got up from lodge to 2 & went to my actual lodge 3 where all my stuffs are…

Washed up, packed my stuffs & when down to join the morning exercise which was conducted by
Ms Hasna Alsagoff which means lotsa fun….

I partnered Jasmine for one of the exercise… hahahahax…
we were really loud & had fun doing the exercise together…

After a great morning exercise, most of the YAs had our breakfast together…
The food this time was much better compared to what I’ve heard about the food for the past few days… Oooops… Shan’t say much about tat…

Right after breakfast was more s.k jobs for the YAs as we had to

1. Take down the banners
2. Clean out the lodges
3. Clean & carry the rubber tubes & spars back to Sarimbun Camp
4. Pack up the first aid room
5. Pick up the litters all around Camp Christine…
6. Bring down the flag pole
7. Carry the stuffs up the bus
8. Carry down the stuffs at HQ

Nonetheless, we had a fun tiring morning…

All of us slept through out the journey back to HQ…
Hilda actually fall when she tried to stand up … hahahahax…
It was a funny moment…
Her leg actually became numb while she was sleeping…

After the warriors have done our duty,
its time to say our GOODBYES but looking forward to more of our meetings in future events…

The Taiwanese Girl Scout Leader really cant get enough of me… Keep saying that I was soooo cute…. & wanting to become her daughter-in-law…
That’s hilarious…

Well, there still Post-International Camp Dinner the next day…

GGS International Camp 2007 – Day 4 December 8, 2007

On Day 4

Reached Camp Christine ard 9am or so…
PS: My fave place to getaway from the urban life…

I didn’ bother to sleep as I didn’ want to miss anything thats happening during the day…

I join in a group who went for archery which was held just beside BP ring…

Met the Maldives Guiders, Vira & another guider who I’ve forgotten the name but not the face…
hehe…
They look like Indian Muslim here in Singapore…
Talked to them bout what they’ve been doing the pass few days of the camp
& guiding in Maldives…

“Did you know that for the Guiders in Maldives to have their meeting in their main HQ, they have to plan for 3 days…? 2 days for traveling to & fro by boat and 1 day of meeting & shopping time… Thats alot man cos for a day of meeting here in Singapore is like so damn diff”

Lurve them…

Then, Mrs Mindi Peters saw me & asked for help…

BLOWING BALLOONS & carrying stuffs…

That afternoon there would be a carnival for parents & outsiders to come…
The guides set up stores to sell their stuffs…
& the Overseas guides & girl scouts set up their booth @ Olave Hall which they displayed lots of stuffs from their country…
I found that the Singapore guides did not event have anything much to exchange with them…
Thats so embarrassing…

Well I exchange badges, patches & pins with them, in exchange from
Scotland – artificial tinsels, badges, stickers
Taiwan – Patches, handphone, keychain & postcards
Malaysia – Key chain
Maldives – Postcard, seashells & a patch…
Cambodia – By the time it came to them, I had nothing else to exchange with them…
I was so disappointed…

During the carnival, I was helping out @ Uncle Salim’s Rafting stall…
Had lotsa fun there…
Gd moments: I had to swim to the drifting raft & retrieve them & the drifting paddle too…
The passengers didn’t dare to jump off the raft to retrieve the paddle…
As usual, HAWA to the rescue…

hahax… tats the Wet Side of Me…

On the same day… (Which I still haven sleep since the night cycling)
I met with new & old YAs…

Thats me with Tong Tong, Christina(my night cycling Buddy), Jie Min(NDP 05′), Hilda(PGA & hopefully futher YA)…

I got cleaned before the campfire (which later I found that was not gd idea)…

As usual with me around, campfire would not be so much fun…

WOOOOHOOOO…

Campfire rocks to the core…

Practically, things were not so high up…
Soooo I got the rest of my S.K. Warriors to come with me to perk things up…
& help out the guides group to get high…

Like I said campfire is my fave thing… Its where my wildness & crazyness comes alive…

After the so-called campfire, we had Scottish guides to do & join the in their scottish dance…
Then there’s the Sri Lankan dance,
Maldives dance,
Cambodia dance…

Then it was all disco PARTY till about 11 I guess…
I sure let loose…
WOOOHOOOO…

It was suppose to be talking night for me & the YAs tat night…
But guess what I fell asleep just when it was going to start…
I guess my tiredness really came over me…

GGS International Camp 07 December 8, 2007

Last week was the GGS International Camp 2007…

Had lots of fun… Even though I only came on the 3 rd night for Night Cycling
which I am proud to say that

IT WAS THE SCARIEST & THE BIGGEST JAW DROPPING Experience ever…

I’ll never organize or head 50 caps for Night Cycling… Guess for now only…
hahahax…

On the 3rd Night

Which is the Night Cycling.

The day was filled with me gettin’ calls from Ms Ng Soo Ling, Valerie Pang Min RU & Ms Hasna Alsagoff.
Everyone was like panicking for me about the event that Night.

I was so relax & my mind was filled with other stuffs.
Which is much more important & urgent at that moment.
Like trying to finish up my work for the day & also finish designing a Presentation Folder…
PS: I’ll Upload the designs later for ur viewing pleasure.

After work & class, I rush to change clothes (sounds like superman) & let my hair down(finally).
Then off went to BEDOK to photocopy 10 sets of my route proposal (which later I feel its a waste of money).
Next destination was ECP which I took a taxi as I thought that I’ll be late (as usual).

I spent lots ofta monay on the same day.

When to settled with this bike shop A who offered me a better bargain than shop B.

So when I initially called shop B to do bookings, the service was crap.

So on that day itself, I went to shop A to make last minute reservations for 50 bikes.
Luckily the Lady Boss was kind enough to agree to my request…

2nd thing that pissed me off is that the participants came late as the BUS DRIVER were late.
So I had to talk to the Lady Boss to open her shop till they come which was nearly over 2hrs their actual closing time.

Well after that things went well…

Participants came…

Ms Hasna with whistle trying to organize things fast…

I had 2 Guiders & 6 YAs to help me in this night cycling all thanks to MS Ng (my Mother).
Guiders: Ms Siti Maskurah, Ms Gloria Teng…
YAs: Shaf (Shafiqah), SOcks (Sock Hong), Christina (Chris), Ms Itchy Backside (Shiyun), Jessica & Val…

We had a safety man who drives the safety vehicle, Mr ANUAR from InnoTrek…

Briefing were held on the safety, using of bikes & hand signals during cycling.

Then off we went…

The Scary experience was that some of the guides were swaying about, dozing off, tripping over each others bikes & TAXIs forcing their way into the bike lane to turn left…
Freaking TAXI Drivers…

Gd Moments: Having a break & Taking pictures at the National Stadium, Esplanade & the Padang…
We had Intenational Guides & Girl Scouts from Taiwan, Scotland, Sri Lanka & Maldives…
At Padang, Ms Hasna starts to tell her grandmother stories which is always very interesting to listen.
SLEEPING AT FORT CANNING…
With a kind heart, Ms Hasna bought for most of the participants MACDONALD’s McChickens & Lotsa French Fries… It was a big treat to the guides as I heard that the camp food made people diarhoea & vomitting & became sick as a result…
Awwwwwww… I lurve it when her kind side shows up…

Then off back to ECP which was filled with jaw-dropping & heart-stopping experience…

The girls were just dozing off anywhere we stop… I guess their tiredness finally caught up with them…
